Other Policies and Provisions:
MATERIALS: Participants are responsible for purchasing their own materials (pastels, 18×24 drawing pad, portfolio case, journal book.)
REFUND POLICY: A student choosing to withdraw is eligible for a pro-rated refund based on portion of training received. Details are provided in the Enrollment Agreement.
COMPLETION CRITERIA: Students are expected to attend classes as scheduled – similar to a work commitment. Students must attend no less than 90% of all scheduled training and complete all coursework to graduate. Tracking student progress (aka our grading system) is measured on a Pass / Fail basis. A certificate of completion will be issued upon satisfactory completion of the course.
ATTENDANCE: As an important member of a group learning environment, your absence will be felt. If you must miss a session or a day, inform the Director.
COMPLAINT PROCEDURES: If an obstacle to learning occurs – for example, personal issues with a teacher or another student – these will be addressed primarily by the affected parties. If a satisfactory resolution is not met, the Director will facilitate mediated discussion. Alternatively, students may provide verbal or written descriptions of any complaints to the Operations Officer.
