After attending an intro workshop and Q&A session, you are ready to apply. 

  1. The application process has 4 parts:
    1. We will email you a link to the application form after your intro workshop and Q&A. 
    2. You’ll pay a non-refundable application fee to hold your space, contingent on receiving your completed application in advance of the registration closing date.
    3. You’ll write a short autobiographical essay. This is maximum  750 words, details below.
    4. You’ll provide us two letters of professional recommendation, details below. These can be submitted via email or U.S. mail.

Essay Guidelines:

In your essay, please address the following:

  1. Describe  your background and interests.
  2. Describe your current personal and professional goals.
  3. Discuss how do you want to apply the training to your personal and professional life.
  4. Regarding a group learning environment: Describe what you imagine your strengths and challenges to be.
  5. Describe your physical, emotional and mental health? And include any challenges/needs that you want us to know about (related to your physical, emotional and mental health.)
  6. Growth requires support and we require that you have mental health support in place while you are in training. Describe how you will provide support for yourself (mentally/emotionally/physically) during your training program.

About the two letters of professional recommendation.

  • Your ‘recommenders’ can send their letters to us by US Mail or email (contact info below).
  • Additionally, if you are currently receiving mental health therapy we will require an additional recommendation from your therapist/provider. 
    NOTE: Letters of recommendation must be from teachers, therapists, employers, or other professional relationships only. Letters from friends or family members will not be accepted.

Review time varies, but you can expect a response from us within 30 days of the receipt of your complete application packet. We will let you know at that time whether or not your application is approved. A letter of acceptance and pertinent information will be mailed to you.
